Mercedez Gutierrez is an award winning Canadian Actress born in Mississauga, Ontario on May 14, 2015. Mercedez is beyond her years and has a passion for performing and being in front of the camera. At the age of 7, Mercedez has worked with many award winning directors and producers including Tom Dey (Shanghai Noon), Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind), Ron Howard (Arrested Development), Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid's Tale) & Bradley Whitford (The West Wing). Mercedez has appeared in many Netflix fan favorite series and films including "Locke & Key", "Wedding Season", "Coroner" but is known for her most recent appearance in season 5 of MGM/Hulu's "The Handmaid's Tale" as little Emma Vance. As an avid reader, Mercedez is known for her expressive and adorable voice in the studio. She is voicing a recurring character named "Cece" in the new Property Brothers preschool animation series called "Builder Brothers Dream Factory" coming to Treehouse and Stack TV in March 2023. She will also be voicing an important historical figure on a popular award winning PBS animation series that will be announced in 2023. When Mercedez is not at school or on set, you can find her reading, drawing, playing with dolls, playing the drums and guitar or doing martial arts training.
